To ensure that your skin will not react negatively to a new product, follow these steps to perform a patch test:

1. Choose a small area of skin – Apply the product to a discreet area, such as the side of your neck, inner arm, or behind your ear.
2. Apply a small amount – Use a small amount of the product you want to test, gently rubbing it into the skin.
3. Wait 24 hours – Leave the product on your skin without washing it off, and monitor the area over the next 24 hours.
4. Check for reactions – If you notice redness, itching, swelling, or irritation during this time, discontinue use. If there’s no reaction, the product should be safe to use on your face.

Start by using the Retinol serum 2-3 times per week in the evening, gradually increasing to nightly use as your skin builds tolerance. Always follow with sunscreen during the day, as Retinol increases sun sensitivity.
